Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) was made by Chemical Synthesis, purified, partly depolymerized cellulose prepared by treating alpha-Cellulose, obtained as a pulp from fibrous plant material with mineral acids.

Main Market Application: MCC is widely used as a texturizer and anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, and a bulking agent in dairy products, beverages, bakery products, seasonings, and meat products.
